Interfaith March for Peace


On Monday (03.06), in Jerusalem took place an Interfaith March for Human Rights and Peace. Fr. Piotr participated in the event, together with Jewish and Muslim friends.


A diverse group of religious leaders from various faiths convened in Jerusalem to participate in a unified march advocating for human rights and peace. The assembly was addressed by some representatives who emphasized that exploiting religious beliefs to justify warfare is a profoundly wrong.

Approximately 200 people from a spectrum of faiths assembled in Jerusalem this past Monday to partake in a march promoting human rights and peace.

Representatives and followers of all religious denominations present in Israel — including Judaism, Islam, Christianity, Druze, and Buddhism — convened at Zion Square. There, they engaged in prayer and vocalized their hopes for peace. The Vicar of St. James, Fr. Piotr said the prayer for Pease in Israel and sang the "Our Father". The group then processed to the Jaffa Gate, culminating the gathering with a concert by the Jerusalem Youth Choir.
