For the first time after the war the weekly Mass in Tel Aviv was celebrated. The Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul was the occasion to meet in a cheerful atmosphere.

On Saturday (31.05.25) a joyful First Communion celebration took place at the Ratisbonne Monastery in Jerusalem. Twelve children, who had been faithfully prepared for this important step in their faith journey since October 2024, received the sacrament for the first time.

On Saturday (07.06.25) thirty children from Tel Aviv for the first time fully participated in the Eucharist. Prepared by fr. Igino, the children celebrated with their parents the great joy of the First Communion.

On Saturday (24.05), the St. James Vicariate brought together over 300 children and their families from Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Jaffa, Haifa, Beersheva and Nazareth Illit for a very special gathering in the heart of Nazareth. The occasion: the Jubilee of Children 2025: a radiant celebration of faith, family, and hope.

On Saturday (31.05), the Our Lady of Valor Center in Tel Aviv became a beacon of faith as it welcomed eight young souls into a deeper communion with the Church through the Sacrament of Confirmation. This momentous event, marked by sacred tradition and communal joy, saw the gathering of family and friends in support of these young individuals taking a significant step in their spiritual journey. The air was filled with a sense of reverence and anticipation, as the future pillars of the church prepared to affirm their faith.

On Saturday (23.03) the children and youth from TA, with their parents participated in a pilgrimage to Jerusalem.

A group of twenty-four young people from Tel Aviv received the Sacrament of Confirmation. This sacrament is seen as the sealing of the covenant created in baptism. In the teaching of the Catholic Church, confirmation, known also as chrismation, is one of the seven sacraments instituted by Christ for the conferral of sanctifying grace and the strengthening of the union between the individual and God.

Fr. David Neuhaus, SI who for many years was the Vicar of St. James Vicariate for Hebrew Speaking Catholics and of the Vicariate for Migrants and Asylum Seekers leaves for his sabbatical year to South Africa. Wishing him all the best the kids of Tel Aviv prepared a nice farewell party.
