Journey of Hope in Tabgha
The final weekend of this year’s Journey of Hope gathered twenty young people at the peaceful Beit Noah Guesthouse in Tabgha. It was a time of prayer, fellowship, and joy — from visiting Capernaum to sharing laughter at the Ninja Youth Ministry Challenge. As we prepare for the new Church year, the program will continue under a new name: Journey of Faith.
Surrounded by nature, water, and silence, the group had space to slow down, pray, and simply be. Morning and evening prayers by the lake were especially touching, as participants prepared and led them themselves — heartfelt, personal, and real.
The weekend was also filled with energy and fun. The Ninja Youth Ministry Challenge brought everyone together in games, competition, and teamwork. The 2025 winning team proudly claimed the title and is ready to defend it next time! Relaxed evenings by the pool and a joyful barbecue added to the family-like atmosphere.
Another highlight was visiting Capernaum, where Jesus and His disciples once walked. In small groups, the youth explored the site and shared what inspired them most. The visit to the Tel Aviv community was equally uplifting: the full church, children remembering faces from summer camps, and reconnecting with local youth created a true sense of coming home.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Danielle, Monika, and Luca, whose dedication and creativity guided the group throughout the weekend.
We also express our gratitude to Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) for their generous support of this meaningful project.
This gathering marked the conclusion of the Journey of Hope and opened the way for the Journey of Faith — carrying forward friendships, prayers, laughter, and a renewed trust in God.
“Come and see.” (John 1:39)
