Cardinal Pizzaballa Visits Haifa

On Wednesday (12.06) in the church of St. Joseph at Paris Square in Haifa took place a meeting with Cardinal Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem.

The Patriarch was visiting the Arab Parish of Haifa and by this occasion it was possible to organize a meeting with the members of Hebrew Speaking Community and the Russian Speaking Community. The meeting started with a short prayer for the hostages and for peace by fr. Piotr, the Vicar of Hebrew Speaking Catholics. Then fr. Igino presented the communities, and the participants were given the occasion to ask questions. Fr. Karol, the Carmelite priest from Stella Maris Monastery thanked the Patriarch for the decision of the restoration of the church of St. Joseph. The common picture and a small refreshment finished the meeting.
