Christmas Retreat in Nazareth

Basilica of Annunciation in Nazareth welcomed the members of the Vicariate on Saturday (21.12) at 11.am. The Advent Retreat started with the Holy Eucharist celebrated by H. E. Bishop Rafik Nahra. In his homily bishop Rafik underlined the importance of Nazareth, as a place where exactly "the Word became flesh".

After the Holy Mass the participants went to Casa Nova for a great Italian style lunch.

The next point in the program was a conference of fr. Igino about the spirituality of Nazareth, after which the big group of people was divided into small groups in which the participants had the possibility to share their thoughts about the three main elements of the spirituality of Nazareth: silence, work and family.

The last moment was a prayer in the church of st. Joseph where mothers, fathers and children recited their prayers.
