Come, Holy Spirit - Family Weekend in Tiberias

On May 29-30, 2026, families gathered in Tiberias for a special Family Weekend under the theme “Ruach HaKodesh” (The Holy Spirit). This enriching and prayerful encounter brought together parents, children, and youth for a time of community, reflection, and joy

The Weekend Experience

The program began on Friday afternoon with the arrival of participants at 17:00, followed by room assignments and a warm time of gathering with light refreshments. The opening meeting took place between 18:00-18:45, setting the tone for the weekend. The shared evening prayer at 19:00 and a joyful time of songs and prayer (20:30-21:15) helped create a spirit of unity and openness to the Holy Spirit.

On Saturday, the day began early with morning prayer at 8:30, followed by breakfast. A series of sessions (shiurim) throughout the morning (9:30-12:00) offered both adults and children opportunities to deepen their faith and reflect together. Breaks for coffee and discussion allowed participants to connect and share.

At midday, families gathered for a shared prayer and meal (12:30-13:15). After lunch and some free time, a family activity at 16:00 brought everyone together in a joyful and creative way. The weekend concluded with the celebration of the Holy Mass at 18:00, a beautiful moment of thanksgiving and unity.

Set against the serene landscape of Tiberias and enriched by the presence of families, prayer, learning, and fellowship, the weekend offered a meaningful opportunity to encounter God and strengthen community bonds.
