We present the speech of Tatiana Gomes de Macedo at the Gala:
I’m truly happy to be here today, presenting this mini-documentary.
It carries something very beautiful — the life, the faith, and the mission of the St. James Vicariate.
Since 2024, many people from the Christian Media Center have been involved in this journey, through events, encounters, and interviews.
But beyond all that, it has been a human and spiritual experience.
For me, it has been much more than a project.
This work gave me the chance to come closer — to really see and touch the lives of people here in the Holy Land.
Because more than a filmmaker, I am a consecrated person.
And for me, the greatest joy has been to recognize the presence of the Lord in each one of you — in your stories, in your struggles, in your faith, and in your hope.
I have learned so much from you.
From your energy, your creativity, and especially your strength, even in a difficult and complex reality.
Thank you for your patience as I am still learning Hebrew, and for the moments of fraternity we were able to share together.
These are things I will carry with me.
On behalf of my community, I would like to say thank you.
Thank you for trusting us, and for allowing us to place our charism at the service of the Church, together with you.
We are here in the Holy Land for a reason — to announce something that has changed our lives and can also change everything:
The Lord is risen. And He is still alive. He is still acting — here, today, in your lives.
That's why with great joy, we join you in giving thanks for all the good that the Lord has done — in each one of you, and in the lives of so many people who have passed through this community.
And we believe this is not finished.
The Lord continues working. So may you keep opening your hearts to Him.
May you continue to walk in His ways, with courage and with hope.
