Pope Benedict’s third volume
The third volume of Pope Benedict’s trilogy on Jesus of Nazareth was released today, Tuesday, November 20, 2012.

In his latest book, Pope Benedict XVI takes on a new approach to write about the infancy of Jesus. The Pope relies on the historical information found in the Gospel and then explains those details through the lens of faith. He says the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem is not a children's story, but rather a story that's still quite relevant for modern times.
The book titled “Jesus of Nazareth - The Infancy Narratives” is not a theology or history book. In it, the Pope analyzes 180 verses in the Gospel, where Matthew and Luke write about Jesus' childhood. He then invites the reader to apply the information and message to their personal lives.
This is the third and last book of the Pope's trilogy series “Jesus of Nazareth.”
