Solemnity of Annunciation in Nazareth

Before the Mass, Fr. Sergey gave an explanation about the Basilica of the Annunciation and the meaning of the feast. We were especially touched by the words that we came to "visit our mother".

Then, all together we prayed in the grotto of the Annunciation and participated in the festive Mass, along with other communities who came to this big feast.

"The trip turned out to be very warm and joyful" - participants are sharing - "We sang along with other communities, singing to familiar melodies, such as “I Believe you, God”, which we learned in Arabic as it was performed by a wonderful choir".

We thank God for the service of Fr. Sergei and for this gift to pray together on a feast day in the very place where Annunciation took place.
