Christ is risen, indeed He is risen!

“Tell us, Mary, what did you see on the way?

I saw the tomb of the living Christ and the glory of his rising,

The angelic witnesses, the shroud, and the clothes.

Christ my hope is arisen; He will go before you into Galilee."

These simple words, attributed to Mary Magdalene in the Latin Easter liturgy, the church puts them on our lips in order to remind us that Mary Magdalene’s joy and wonder in front of the empty tomb of Jesus were not only for her but also for us. Let us give thanks for the hope granted to us, once and forever, by the risen lord.

In the book of Psalms, King David says, " Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay”. We praise our God, living and eternal King, who always accomplishes his promises, Blessed is He and blessed is his Name.

Happy Easter!
