Jewish annotated New Testament
A fascinating new commentary on the New Testament brings together Jewish scholars who comment the texts of the New Testament.

The Jewish Annotated New Testament, edited by Amy-Jill Levine and Marc Zvi Brettler (Oxford University Press, 700 pages) was reviewed in HaAretz newspaper by Benjamin Balint (30.4.2012).
This new collection about the New Testament is written by Jewish scholars. The first part of the book contains commentaries on the twenty seven books of the New Testament whereas the second part of the book contains short essays on themes that are important to under stand the texts of the New Testament and the world in which it was composed.
This volume is another important Jewish contribution to reading the New Testament.
