The closing of a Circle: our Children receive the Sacraments!

Finally, after many interruptions and halts, the group of kids who prepared for the Sacraments of Christian Initiation, starting from September 2019, could finally celebrate them on the past two Saturdays. As a consequence of the Corona pandemic, the lockdowns and restrictions of this year, what was supposed to take place in May happened only in November, and we are grateful for it! On Saturday November 7^th, divided in two separate groups in two Holy Masses, about 20 children received Confirmation, after a two-year course with Fr. Benny. On Saturday November 14^th, in one Mass, about 12 kids, prepared by Dima, received their First Communion. All the ceremonies were held outdoor, in Our Lady Woman of Valor’s courtyard, in a very simple and worthy fashion. All the liturgies were presided by Fr. Rafic, Patriarchal Vicar together with Fr. Renato, the Director of the center.

We are very happy with and for our children who slowly and despite the many obstacles, step toward their Christian maturity!
