Young Adults Weekend in Nazareth

On December 5–6 our young adults came together to Nazareth for a weekend of prayer, reflection, and fellowship. It was a beautiful opportunity to grow in faith and community.

This past weekend, young adults from our communities gathered in Nazareth for a time of spiritual renewal and discovery. The program combined moments of joy, learning, and deep prayer in the very place where the Word became flesh.

On Friday evening, participants enjoyed a festive visit to the Christmas Market, soaking in the atmosphere of lights, music, and local traditions that prepare hearts for the coming of Christ. Later, the group met for an engaging discussion on the main messianic prophecies from the Old Testament, exploring how these ancient promises find their fulfillment in Jesus.

Saturday morning began with a prayer meeting, followed by a workshop on Luke 2, the Gospel passage recounting the Birth of Jesus. Together, participants reflected on the mystery of the Incarnation and its meaning for our lives today.

The highlight of the weekend was the Holy Mass at the Basilica of the Annunciation, celebrated by Bishop Rafik Nahra. Gathering around the altar in this sacred place was a profound experience of unity and faith, reminding us that God’s promises are alive and real.
