There was great joy in the Jerusalem kehilla during the days of Christmas. On December 29, 2012, the Feast of King David, Carlos and Caroline, two active and contributing members of the kehilla, celebrated their marriage. Carlos arrived in the kehilla just over two years ago from Venezuela and found employment as a specializing doctor in anesthetics at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem. Caroline also arrived in the kehilla about two years ago from France and she has just finished writing her doctorate in political science. They met in the Jerusalem kehilla and the kehilla accompanied them on their way right until the day of their marriage.

The wedding was celebrated in the magnificent Benedictine church in Abu Ghosh and the officiating priest was Father David, Vicar for the kehillot. Alongside him celebrated Fathers Piotr, Rafic and Michel. Benny oversaw the music with Tiago. Parents, family members and friends filled the church, coming from Venezuela, France and other countries in which the two had lived and alongside them members of the kehilla as well as many Jewish colleagues of Carlos from the hospital.

We wish the newly wed couple Mazal Tov and many blessings on their life together as a couple.
