Traditional Sukkah in Jerusalem Community

As every year, on the occasion of Sukkot Feast, the Jerusalem Community built a large and decorated Sukkah!

As in the past, the event of building the sukkah became an experience, especially for the friends who temporarily pray with us.

This year the team was also international: in addition to Fr. Benny, Rivka, Cecile and Jean from the community, Fr. Matthew (a Benedictine from the United States), Ivonne (a friend from Germany on a three-week visit to Israel), Roja (a Catholic student who arrived a few days ago), participated together with Cataldo, the father of fr. Benny. Everyone contributed something and the cooperation between all the people was very beautiful - from making coffee to instalment of the thatch and the decorations.

This year more than anything we felt the closeness between the people of different origins and nations. Come and be our guests in the sukkah!
