The annual August summer camp at Our Lady Woman of Valor Pastoral Center in south Tel Aviv began on Monday, August 14, 2017 and ended on Friday, August 18, 2017.

From Wednesday, July 5 to Friday, July 14, 2017, children, youth and adults from the Hebrew speaking Catholic kehillot gathered at Deir Rafat, near Beit Shemesh for the days of the children’s summer camps.

From Tuesday, April 4 until Thursday, April 6, 2017, 90 members of the Hebrew speaking kehillot in Israel participated in a camp at the shrine at Deir Rafat.

From Tuesday, December 27 until Thursday, December 29, 2016, 77 people from the Saint James Vicariate for Hebrew Speaking Catholics participated in a camp for children at the sanctuary of Our Lady Queen of Palestine in Deir Rafat.

During the vacations of the Feast of Tabernacles, from Sunday, October 16 until Tuesday, October 25, 2016, about 50 children attended activities each day at the Saint Rachel Center in Jerusalem. Sister Claudia reports:

As the new school year approaches, the kaytanot come to an end. This year, 2016, a new record was set with regard to the activities of the Vicariate for children in the summer.

On Friday evening, August 26, 2016, tens of children, their parents, the summer camp counselors and many friends gathered in the Ratisbonne Salesian compound to celebrate the end of the kaytana.

On Thursday, August 25, special guests appeared at the Saint James Vicariate to spend some time with the children gathered there for the summer kaytana.

On Friday, August 19, 2016, 55 participants in the summer camp being held at the Our Lady Woman of Valor Pastoral Center in south Tel Aviv were invited to use the swimming pool in Beit Protea, a live in retirement facility in Herzlia.

The annual August summer camp at Our Lady Woman of Valor Pastoral Center in south Tel Aviv began on Monday, August 15, 2016 and will continue until Friday, August 19, 2016.

Since mid-July about 65 children have been attending the summer camp for children held each day under the auspices of the Saint James Vicariate for Hebrew speaking Catholics in Israel.

Sister Agnes Tichit is a part of the team of camp counselors of the Saint James Vicariate and during the recent Easter-Passover camp, which took place in Deir Rafat from April 24 to 27, 2016, she spoke with Neta, who volunteers in the monastery kitchen.
