Uzi Hitman (of blessed memory) – Songs for Independence Day

Uzi Hitman (1952 – 2004) was a singer, an artist, a composer and a writer of lyrics, who died at a young age after contributing richly to Israeli music. We publish here some links to the songs he sang for Independence Day.

In memory of Ofra Haza

Ofra Haza was one of Israel’s most popular singers, until her tragic death at a young age. From a Yemenite family, she also sang many songs that were from the religious tradition of Israel and had a spiritual message. L.S. from the Haifa community has sent us some of these songs.
