The Return of the Wall Guardians of Jerusalem
On the Jerusalem Wall Promenade, high above the city, the Jerusalem Development Society inaugurated on October 19th the "Guardians of the Walls Are Returning" installation that breathes life into the city's guards of all religions who have come from different countries throughout the ages. On August 29, 2017, Archbishop Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Apostolic Administrator of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, wrote a letter to the members of the Hebrew speaking Catholic communities regarding the resignation of Father David.

Sixty Years - A Pastoral Letter
Father David Neuhaus, Latin Patriarchal Vicar, responsible for the Saint James Vicariate for Hebrew Speaking Catholics in Israel, has published a pastoral letter on the occasion of the 60th anniversary since the founding of the Work of Saint James. The letter was published on the Feast of Edith Stein, August 9, 2015.

Cardinal Lustiger on the Hebrew-speaking communities
In 2002, Cardinal Jean-Marie Lustiger, Archbishop of Paris, published a book based on retreats he had preached to Benedictine nuns of Bec Hellouin. The book, La promesse, was later published in other languages (including English) and includes a few pages about the Hebrew-speaking Catholic community in Israel. Lustiger, who died in 2007, was a great friend of our communities and we publish here the English version of his reflections.
Our kehillot on Israel Radio
For many years the Israel Broadcasting Authority has broadcast a short radio program entitled “A moment of Hebrew”. Twice during the festive period, an interview was broadcast with Father David Neuhaus about the Hebrew speaking Catholic communities. Father David was helped by Brother Yohanan Elihai in composing the content of the broadcast.
