Kaytana Pesach 2025

Fifty children and guides gathered together, each one unique, but all united in a journey of faith, creativity, and community.

The theme, "Chosen – Now and Forever," echoed through every moment, reminding us that we are all chosen and loved by Jesus.

Throughout the camp, participants were engaged in a variety of enriching ateliers. Art and music became ways of expressing the deeper truths of our faith, while theatre brought Biblical stories to life, allowing the children to walk in the footsteps of Jesus in the land of Galilee. Every session was an invitation to explore, create, and discover.

One atelier that was a huge hit was the food station, where everyone got to be a part of making Lion King Fruit Sticks. These delicious treats brought the movie to life in a fun and tasty way, and we also indulged in some ice cream – the perfect refreshment on a warm day!

The incredible pool at Beit Noah was another highlight. The water, sourced from a spring that maintains a constant temperature of 24°C year-round, provided a refreshing escape and a chance to relax and connect with nature. Whether swimming or just soaking in the peaceful surroundings, the pool became a beloved oasis for all the children.

A special moment came during our movie night, where the kids were treated to an outdoor screening of The Lion King. It truly felt like a cinema experience. With popcorn in hand, they were forming memories that will last a lifetime.

Then came the barbecue – a delicious celebration of togetherness. The smell of grilling food filled the air as we all enjoyed a meal under the stars. We were joined by Fr. Abraham and the Sisters from the Tabgha Community, whose presence added even more joy to the gathering. The Sisters also taught us a beautiful dance, embodying the joy and unity we find in following Jesus.

As the next night drew on, we gathered around a bonfire. The warmth of the flames matched the warmth of the friendships newly build in the camp. We sang, shared stories in an atmosphere of belonging and love.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the amazing team who made this Kaytana Camp a reality. Fr. Apo, Fr. Benny, Fr. Michal, Israela, Danielle, Adam, Cristina, Monika, Prince, Raven, Melissa, Glady, Evelyn, Batia, and Tomer – your dedication, warmth, and passion made this camp a true success.

We all left the camp with hearts full of joy, knowing we are chosen – now and forever!
