Christmas Party at Catechism School in Jerusalem

A beautiful Christmas Party as a part of Advent preparation took place at Salesian Monastery of Ratisbonne, on Saturday (14.12). The participants were children who learn catechism together with their parents.

The Advent Holy Mass in Jerusalem was a truly wonderful celebration, filled with warmth and joy.

The church of Ratisbonne Monastery was beautifully decorated in the spirit of the season, with stunning Christmas trees, creating a sense of peace and reverence.

The Mass was made even more special by the presence of many children from catechism class with Fr. Benny and the Oratory Group of Deacon Ivan, Br. Paul and Br. Marcelino, whose eager participation added a heartfelt depth to the celebration.

Following the Mass, the Christmas Party was a radiant display of community and love. Everyone joined in, children, youth and parents.

Fr. Benny led everyone in the Christmas songs, serving as the host of the Christmas party, creating an atmosphere of warmth and festive spirit for all to enjoy. The children’s dance performance was nothing short of amazing. Their joyful energy filled the room. Each child received a thoughtful gift, a symbol of love and care. The atmosphere was enriched by touching Christmas songs.

The Vicar of ViMAS (Vicariate for Migrants and Asylum Seekers), Fr. Matthew warmly welcomed and blessed everyone at the Christmas party, offering heartfelt words of encouragement

The afternoon concluded with a lovingly prepared buffet, where the mothers of the children invited everyone to share in a time of fellowship and love.

It was a beautiful moment of connection, a reminder of the warmth of community during the holiday season.

The entire event was a reflection of the joy that Jesus brings into our lives. Him being the light for our world and a source of unwavering hope.

The appreciation and joy in the air were a true testament to His presence in our midst, filling the hearts of all who gathered.
