Journey of Hope: From Jerusalem to Beersheva

An unforgettable weekend in Beersheva (07-08.03) with SJV youth participating from different parishes.

What happens when young people from different communities come together for a journey of faith, friendship and discovery? The 2nd Journey of Hope took us to Beersheva, where laughter, deep conversations and unforgettable moments shaped our time together. We were excited to continue building connections in another part of the St. James Vicariate.

A Community coming together

This journey was truly special as it brought together youth from Haifa, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Two couples shared their inspiring life stories of resilience and love, we learned from one another and experienced the warmth of the Beersheva community. Their hospitality (and great pizza) made us feel right at home!

Fun, Fellowship & Faith

Between meaningful conversations, we also enjoyed the beauty of nature at Pura Nature Reserve. These moments strengthened our friendships and reminded us of the joy of simply being together.

What’s next? Haifa!

With Jerusalem as our first stop and Beersheva as our second, we are thrilled that the next Journey of Hope will take us to Haifa! Each journey deepens our connections, and we can’t wait to continue this experience.

A big thank you to Habib & Fr. Roman for making this journey possible!
