Retreat day before Christmas

Members of the kehillah of Jerusalem and that of Jaffa spent a day in prayer and reflection on Saturday, November 25, 2017 in Ein Karem.

The Hebrew speaking Catholic communities begin the preparation for Christmas, the period of Advent, immediately after the Feast of Tabernacles. And like every year, the members of the kehillah gathered together in order to dedicate a day to prayer and reflection. This year, the day took place in the convent of the Sisters of Sion in Ein Karem in Jerusalem. Benny, a seminarian from the Saint James Vicariate, taught those who participated in this day about “kingship” in the Bible and especially about the “kingdom of Jesus”.
