Interreligious encounter at Beer Sheba University

Another meeting of the Interfaith Initiative of the Negev took place at the Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheba. Father Piotr, parish priest of Beer Sheba, and Fr. Wojiech, the parish vicar, participated in the meeting during which the religious leaders of southern Israel planned their collaboration for the coming year. Panels, visits to schools, common workshops and meetings were scheduled. The Jewish, Muslim and Christian local religious leadership meet regularly in order to create an atmosphere of common understanding and reinforce the peace process for better social coexistence of the various groups of the population of the Negev.
