Feast of Sisters of Saint Paul of Chartres


On Wednesday, January 25, 2017, the Sisters of Saint Paul of Chartres celebrated their feast day at the Our Lady Woman of Valor Pastoral Center in south Tel Aviv.

Two sisters of this congregation serve in Israel, at the Pastoral Center, Sister Regina, administrator of the Center and Sister Lerma, responsible for the ministry to the sick and active in the music ministry. Two other sisters serve in Bethlehem University, in Palestine.

Today, more than 500 Filipino Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres run 60 houses in the Philippines, with 44 schools, 11 health care facilities, 11 pastoral centers and 9 houses under the Provincialate. Sixty-seven Filipino Saint Paul Sisters serve in 18 mission countries which include Central Africa, Peru, Brazil, Colombia, France, England, Haiti, Ireland, Italy, Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, the United States, Hawaii, Indonesia, East Timor, Dubai, Congo, Israel and Palestine.

The festive mass was celebrated by Father Millan, acting director the Center, and tens of faithful attended the mass and the festive meal afterwards.
