A beautiful Tuesday was given to us in order to be together. 38 children over the age of three and seven counselors: Sister Claudia, Daniel, Ronny, Wojtek, Matthew, Martha and Father Rafic. In the morning, at 8:30, we set 9off in the direction of Qasr al-Yahud, that being the place where Jesus was baptized in the Jordan Valley, not far from the town of Jericho. It was an interesting experience for the children. They experienced what it is like to be in the wilderness, the heat and thirst, even if only for a short time. Thus, they could understand better the experience of the people of Israel during forty years in the wilderness and the experience of Jesus who fasted for forty days and forty nights. We sat alongside the Jordan River and we remembered that not far from there the People of Israel, after the exodus from Egypt, crossed the river as on dry land and entered the Promised Land. We also called to mind the meaning of our baptism.

After the serious part, we travelled to Zuba (not far from Jerusalem) and spent some hours in the Kef-Zuba Park. There we enjoyed all the facilities and games until we had spent all our energy.
