Elena got married and we wish her and her spouse mazal tov (good luck)! Elena wrote to us about the ceremony.

wedding 2016

On April 14, 2016, our wedding ceremony was held in the Church of Saint Peter in Jaffa. It was a special day for us and I want to thank Father Apolinary for receiving us in the church and for his concern regarding all the details, for the beauty of the church and for the words which were spoken from the heart. Many thanks to Father Piotr who came all the way especially for us and gave us the special privilege of making our wedding vows in our mother tongue, this was very moving. Thank you to Benny, the seminarian, and to Father Alberto, who despite studies and a heavy work load, so readily and with so much joy came from Jerusalem and made the ceremony even more moving with heavenly singing.

My heart overflowed with joy to see the church full of different guests, Jews, Muslims, members of family, friends, members of the kehilla and all of them together, all joyful!!!!

The moments after the receiving of communion were moments of perfect happiness. This time I asked for nothing but only gave thanks. I felt an infinite joy, difficult to put into words…

That day I felt like I was part of a big family, enveloped in love and joy and happiness. Now, I want to ask the Holy Spirit to show me the way to share this joy with all those that need it.
